I read something in another tribe that reminded me of this today... there used to be a food that i kind of remember being advertised as a breakfast food.
it was maybe about the shape & size of a pencil and looked like a really thin, long, tootsie-roll.
Seems like it was chocolate and was kind of doughy and kind of like a slim-jim
anyone have any clue what i'm trying so hard to remember?

Tue, October 25, 2005 - 6:58 AMSpace food sticks.
Astronauts were supposed to have eaten them while in orbit. They had a not bad taste and texture--even if they did look a bit pre-recycled. -

Thu, October 27, 2005 - 10:33 AMOMG that sounds fn scary!!! Probably excellent when you're a kid, but scary as an adult with a kid.
Is it like the stuff you make fudge with? the marshmellow cream in a jar???

Re: funky food
Thu, October 27, 2005 - 10:41 AMThat's exactly what it is ! I don't let Zachary near the stuff because he would LOVE it. I think it can be utilized by psycologists as an intake question to determine where to begin with your childhood issues; "Did your mom ever serve you fluff as a child ?" You answer "yes" and the good doctor scribbles "I've got a live one here !" This is where that jar full of $5.oo bills would come in handy Andrea. -

Re: funky food
Thu, October 27, 2005 - 4:36 PMThat is hilarious, but I think the even funnier thing is I find it *so* outrageous, yet I remember trying to set the workd record for most smores eaten at a campfire.
Marshmallow, add flame, add chocolate and a grahm cracker... as if that is so much better for you than peanut butter!
BRING ON THE FLUFF!!! I bake a lot during the holidays, and you know I'll be having a PB&F. I'll keep ya posted!!! -

There is nothing better than s'mores!
I take all the fixins whenever I go camping. It's good drunk food!
(I hate peanut butter, though.)
